Eschscholzia californica - Californian poppy 'Monarch Art Shades'

APPEARANCE: Hardy annual featuring single and double flowers in shades of orange and yellow. Thrives in poor dry soils. Plant as a border or mass plant for a showy display.
PLANTING: Sow seeds directly into garden beds during spring or summer. Plant in free draining soil in a sunny location for a long flowering season.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established. Native to California, these poppies are perfect for our hot and dry summers. Apply a liquid fertiliser like eco-seaweed when flower buds appear and remove any spent flowers to encourage heavier flowering.
