Neat little ground cover callistemon perfect for exposed steep slopes, rockeries and pots. Citrinus callistemons grow in swamps and riverbanks in the wild so it should perform ok in wetter soils too. Hardy and low maintenance.

Callistemon citrinus 'Firebrand'DESCRIPTION: Evergreen native ground cover featuring red brush flowers through the warmer months of the year. Attracts bees, birds and nectar feeding insects to your garden.
USE IN: Ideal planted on steep embankments for erosion control, planted through rockeries and pots.
LOCATION: Full sun to part shade. Suits most soil types. Tolerates moderate drought and frost once established.
CARE: Mulch and water well during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Apply a native slow release fertiliser during spring for maximum flowering and new growth. Prune after flowering to promote a tidy growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.5 - 0.8 m H x 2 - 3 m W.
