Compact slender low hedging suited to topiary, formal and native gardens. New growth emerges in deep toffee-apple red shades, sometimes almost maroon, maturing to green.

The leaves are fine and slender making it a good native alternative to Nandina. Grows to 2m but can be kept clipped to under 1m if required, which will encourage more colourful new leaf growth.

We love Forest Flame for its fine slender leaves, deep red new growth, versatile height
