The Dark Side to Cubic Frost's silver goodness, Dark Vader folds up its origami leaves into an orange-rust-plum-steelblue-burgundy ball of intensity.
Whether you're old skool Han, Luke and Princess Leia; or new-generation Rey, Finn and General Leia, you'll enjoy this sith-worthy succulent.
Dark Vader has handsome deep colouring, and elegantly recurved leaves. It's a larger size rosette succulent that thrives in full sun and indoors in bright lounge rooms. It needs very little looking after, leaving you more time to fight for (or against) the Rebel Alliance.
Echeveria hybrid 'Dark Vader'APPEARANCE : Compact succulent with neat rosette-ball shape. Dark Vader is a hybrid crossed with Topsy Turvy and Black Prince; elegantly-curved silver-blue foliage from Topsy Turvy; dark colours in sunlight of pink, red, or burgundy from Black Prince.
USE FOR : Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a bright position with indirect light. Protect from hot afternoon sun as the foliage can become sunburned.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette. Smaller plants - 'pups' - around the base of large plants may be removed and replanted.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 20cm H x 20cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
