Each leaf of this silvery-green succulent tapers to a sharp point, becoming more maroon as it grows, as if dipped in blood. Fun Fact, Saint Barbara is the patron saint of armourers and artillerymen, and this succulent looks like it could defend itself in a fight. If you like your succulent with claws this is the one for you!
Echeveria agavoides 'Santa Barbara'
DESCRIPTION: Rosette-forming succulent with frosted-looking silvery-green leaves tapering to a point, each with dark red edges even when young.USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position for maximum leaf colour.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15 cm H x 30 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
