Gazania New Day Strawberry Shortcake Mix
If you're one of those people that takes a little bit of everything at an all-you-can eat buffet, then this is the gazania mix for you! It's got shades of cream and custard, strawberry and raspberry, plum and blackcurrant.
Obviously each flower cannot be everything at once..., but if - like at a buffet - you help yourself to lots of these heat-loving daisies, you'll get a better chance of having a bigger mix of colour in your garden this summer. The image shows a selection of the colours that might occur.
Please Note: This product is a mix. We cannot tell from their leaves which colour flower each plant will have, so it's a lucky dip!
Gazania rigens New Day® Strawberry Shortcake Mix
APPEARANCE: A mix of large white, yellow, striped white and pink, striped lemon and purple, rose pink and plum daisy-like flowers on short stems, above compact evergreen foliage. Hardy ground cover, ideal used to control weeds.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, mass planting, pots, containers and border planting. Tough and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in full sun for maximum flowering. Keep frost free above 5C
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Mature overgrown plants may be divided and replanted in another area of the garden.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 20 – 25 cm H x 15 – 20 cm W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tubestock plants, with young healthy roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
