Very easygoing native tea tree that stands up to frost, drought and salt spray, grows in clay or sandy soil, suits urban decks and rural wildlife gardens. Generally grows taller than wide, so try it for informal hedging in a cottage style garden.

Leptospermum scoparium 'Lipstick'

APPEARANCE : Compact evergreen native tea tree shrub , dense and bushy with bright pink open flowers rich in nectar, and slender leaves. Bred by Bywong Nursery
USES:  Hedging, native and wildlife gardens, cottage style gardens, containers. Excellent for beekeepers as Manuka honey is highly prized.
PLANTING : Plant in sun or full shade. Frost tolerant, drought tolerant and salt spray tolerant once established.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 4-6 weeks or until the plant is established. Prune after flowering to shape the outline and help the plant become more bushy.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1-1.5m H x 1m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
