Jazzy tea tree with bright pink open flowers, very adaptable to most Aussie climates, given enough water, except extreme heat and humidity. Makes a good feature shrub or informal hedge in native and wildlife gardens as it's very bushy and frost resistant.


Fun fact: Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of pleasure, passion and procreation. We can't guarantee any of that, if you plant this shrub in your garden, but you never know your luck...

Leptospermum spectabile 'Aphrodite'
APPEARANCE: Native medium-large bushy mounding shrub, with dense bright foliage and heaps of bright pink five-petalled spring flowers, large for a tea tree. Bred by Bywong Nursery.
USES:  Hedging, native and wildlife gardens, mixed beds, containers. Ideal for screening.
LOCATION: Plant in full sun or part shade. Happy in a range of soil types and tolerates damp soils. Tolerates drought and coastal conditions once established. Frost hardy on well-drained soils.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 4-6 weeks or until the plant is established. Water in dry spells. Will cope with being pruned quite hard if you need to, but a light annual prune after flowering is better to maintain a dense habit and flowers.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  2 - 2.5 m H x 1.5 - 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The size of the pot is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
