Pachyphytum compactum Chiseled Stones
APPEARANCE : Compact succulent, grows to clumps of geometric rosettes, each leaf looks faceted. Leaf colour is green in warm temperatures and semi-shade; in full sun or cooler winter months the leaves turn purple or orange shades. Happy plants may produce stems of pink bell flowers.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position for maximum leaf colour. Likes it hot and sunny and not overwatered. Temperatures over 10C.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Once established, plants may be divided and planted in another area of the garden.
