Forms a dense mound of soft variegated white-grey foliage. This native shrub plant is covered with white flowers in spring, which the bees love. Grows to 1.5m around - plant with the smaller Peppermint Cream for two-layer colour. (See third image - Smokie tubestock is above, Peppermint Cream is below)
Westringia 'Smokie'DESCRIPTION: Australian native shrub with rounded habit, small variegated foliage, and white flowers throughout most of the year.
USES: Perfect for hedging and contrast planting. Suitable for exposed areas.
PLANTING: A full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Hardy shrub suited to most conditions and coastal plantings. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune to promote new growth and compact growth habit. Requires little water once established. Tolerates light frost.
