Chilli Pepper 'Hot Cayenne'
Capsicum frutescens

DESCRIPTION: Neat growing plant producing long, extra hot chillies. Attractive as an ornamental plant in containers.
PLANTING: Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter in warmer locations. Sow seeds directly into their final position & thin at approx 5cm in height. A full sun location is ideal, suited to container planting.
USE IN: Chillies are perfect for adding kick to curries, sauces and eggs. May be frozen for later use.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and occasionally as plants mature. Mulch plants to retain moisture in the soil. Harvest chillies by cutting the stem approx 2cm above the pepper. Apply liquid fertiliser regularly for best results. Protect plants from frost.
