Alocasia baginda ‘Pink Dragon’ - African mask plant, crocodile plant, kris plant

APPEARANCE : Compact variety of aocasia, a tropical foliage plant with arrow-shaped leaves, contrasting silver-white veins, and pale pink stems.
USES: Indoors in pots. Suited to underplanting in tropical gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in a shaded frost-free location with plenty of filtered light or indirect sunlight. Alocasia plants thrive in free draining soil, check that pots have good drainage.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Apply liquid fertiliser at half rate every 4 weeks for best results. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up. Regular light watering and a daily spritz with water for indoor plants will keep them looking lush. Foliage may die back during the cooler months when plants become dormant. Avoid feeding and heavy watering again until plants develop new leaves. Repot during spring only if plants become rootbound, this is the ideal time to remove and repot any young shoots which have sprouted. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT &WIDTH: 50cm H x 50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
