This dense evergreen box will grow to a slender upright shrub, or you can prune it to a traditional classic green hedge. Lovely slow-growing boundary or fence line plant especially in restricted spaces and narrow garden spots.
Buxus sempervirens fastigiata - upright English box
APPEARANCE : Small-leaved classic evergreen box hedging with very upright (fastigiate) vertical habit.USE FOR : Ideal for hedging and screening in the garden. Great used in formal gardens and containers, and for topiary and ornamental hedging.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a sunny position in the garden. Tolerates most soil types except acidic.
CARE : Mulch and water well when planting. Continue to water regularly for the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Fertilise during Spring and prune as required to maintain form.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1-1.5m W on average; will grow 3M+ unclipped.
