A dwarf form of Ozbreed's Breeze® dianella, bred for low maintenance borders and mat-forming weed-suppressing landscape planting. Soon clumps to form a colony of multiple plants.

NEW Baby Breeze™ is just as good at making your life easier, needing a haircut every 3-5 years and very little care in between. In most good garden soils and climates it will look green and lush all year.

Dianella caerulea 'Baby Breeze'® - blue flax lily, paroo lily PBR intended

APPEARANCE :  Very compact native flowering grass, bred to need little maintenance. The leaves are broader than other Dianellas, and a bright fresh green colour. Heaps of tiny blue-purple starry flowers in Spring.
USE FOR :Borders and edgings, mass landscape planting, containers, feature planting. Spreads widthways to form a mat.
CLIMATE : Easy going, tolerates sun, shade, frost. Caerulea dianellas are more tolerant of humid conditions than other dianellas.
PLANTING : Plant in sun or shade in the garden, with the crown slightly raised above the soil level to avoid waterlogging. Tolerates most good soil types including sand or clay.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Apply fertiliser twice yearly or more often in poorer soils. Needs almost no maintenance - every 3-5 years chop the plant back by two-thirds to encourage new growth and remove old dead leaves.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 40-60 cm H x 40-60 cm W
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
