Mini form of the popular D. iridioides wild iris, one-quarter the height with all the beauty and hardiness of its big sister. Ideal for pots, front of border, and wherever you want a more delicate look.

APPEARANCE : Clumping compact grassy plant with white butterfly-like flowers on long stems. About half the mature height of Dietes iridioides - you can see the difference in the image gallery
USE FOR : Ideal used as a border and edging plant or throughout rockeries. Also perfect for steep embankments, erosion control, and underplanting.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Tolerates most soil conditions. Fertilise yearly with a slow release fertiliser.
CARE :  Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Drought and frost hardy so little maintenance is needed after initial care. Plants may be divided once established.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 25-30cm H x 30cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
