Evergreen flowering hedge shrub to 2.5m, with clusters of scented white blossoms and neat glossy foliage. Ideal for seaside and coastal gardens, hardy in most situations including drought and frost. Not so good in humidity - one for cooler states, where the leaves will bronze up nicely in cold weather.

APPEARANCE : Attractive evergreen shrub with neat glossy dark green leaves, larger than the other escallonias we carry, and spires of small, lightly-scented white flowers.USE FOR : Ideal for hedging, screening and seaside gardens.
LOCATION: Escallonia will thrive in most conditions, drought and frost tolerant. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water well until established. Prune after flowering to encourage new growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser twice yearly.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2.5m H x 2m W.
