Very handsome evergreen hedging plant - new emerald green leaves contrast with mature bottle green ones, each very neatly edged in a paler shade of green. Much more compact and lowgrowing than Tom Thumb or Rocket, ideal for stepover hedging or mini topiary balls.
APPEARANCE: Compact dense growing evergreen hedging plant with deep green small leaves and brighter apple-green new growth. Larger leaf than Tom Thumb, rounder leaf than Green Rocket, smaller and denser in habit than both. USES: Formal gardens as a box hedge or bordering plant. Suited to container planting. PLANTING: Plant in a full sun with well-draining soil. Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Tolerates drought, frost and coastal conditions, and most soil types. CARE: Prune only as required to maintain shape. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser during spring, benefits from the use of a liquid fertiliser. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30 - 50 cm H x 60 cm W.
