Evergreen, deer-proof, bird-friendly, rock-solid cold-hardy, grows in any good garden soil. And you might even get rich plum-bronze leaf colour in cold weather.

Lonicera nitida, Lonicera ligustrina var. yunnanensis - dwarf honeysuckle

APPEARANCE:
 Fast growing evergreen shrub with dense limey-green foliage, very small leaves.
USES: Ideal for clipped hedges and topiary, low growing hedges, edges, and in containers on patio settings.
PLANTING: Plant in any well drained soil in sun or shade.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Regular light trimming will encourage dense growth and prevent woody sections.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5-2 m H x 1.5 m W unclipped.
