Euphorbia milii cream - crown of thorns
DESCRIPTION: Easy care Madagascan succulent with spiny stems and long oval dark green leaves. Flowers are simple, two round flat petals. In the wild it grows to a 2m scrambling vine but in gardens will mature to a compact shrub-like clump with one or more trunks
USES: Ornamental container plant ideal in well lit areas or waterwise garden planting in dry climates;
PLANTING: Plant in sandy free draining soil in pots or out in the garden, in a sunny position. Protect plants from frost.
CARE: Require little water during the winter. Weekly light watering during the warmer months will keep plants looking lush. Needs temperatures over 10C.
NOTE: Exercise caution when handling as thorns are sharp. If damaged the plant will exude a latex which can be an skin and nose irritant, so keep pets and small children away.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15-20cm H x 15-20cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
