Heaps of golden yellow flowers stand proud above deep green foliage on this popular groundcover. Drought tolerant, loves full sun, puts up with poor soil and coastal winds, fantastic as massed planting, and cheery as a solo plant in pots or windowboxes. Usually available in spring until we sell out.

Gazania rigens yellow

APPEARANCE: Small abundant daisy-like flowers with contrasting dark rings at the centre, over green foliage which is silver-white on the reverse.
ORIGIN : Cape of Southern Africa
USE FOR : Great for rockeries, mass planting, pots, containers and border planting. Hardy ground cover, ideal used to control weeds.
CLIMATE : Keep frost free above 5C
PLANTING: Plant in well drained soil in full sun for maximum flowering. Tolerates poor dry soils and coastal locations
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Mature overgrown plants may be divided and replanted in another area of the garden.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 40cm H x 30 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
