Osteospermum Limpopo - seed
Osteospermum, Diphormotheca sinuata 'Limpopo'
DESCRIPTION: Long-flowering groundcover plant for sunny dry places. Showy daisy flowers in a range of citrus pastels. Originates from South Africa so loves sun and good drainage.
PLANTING: Sow seeds in Spring in seed trays/pots, or late spring-early Summer directly into final position, and keep moist. Sow on the soil surface and gently press in or very lightly cover. Thin plants once they develop 2-4 leaves and are easily handled. Plant in free draining soil in a sunny location for best flowering. If planted early they will flower in the same year.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the shallow roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser
