Happy almost anywhere you grow it, and home to native butterflies, ideal for naturalising and underplanting in garden borders, and wildlife gardens.
Goodenia ovata 'Gold Cover'
APPEARANCE : Low maintenance compact native groundcover with bright yellow pansy or nasturtium-like flowers from spring to autumn which attract native pollinators. The parent plant is found almost everywhere in Australia in the wild which makes it very adaptable for gardens. Gold Cover is more dense, much lower-growing .
USE FOR : Seaside, outback, and Australian cottage gardens, wildlife and native gardens. Butterfly host plant. Fast-growing border filler, banks, retaining walls and container planting.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun to part shade in moist free-draining soil. Frost tolerant.
CARE : Continue to water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Hard prune after flowering to keep it dense and flowery. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 0.1 - 0.3 m H x 1 - 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
