Leptospermum polygalifolium 'Vertical Drop'

APPEARANCE : Dwarf native shrub, growing low and wide, with arching branching layers of stems covered in white teatree flowers in winter-spring. Pronounced cascading waterfall habit. Foliage is small and neat, and out of flower this plant resembles Casuarina Cousin It.
USE FOR :  In native and wildlife gardens.  Groundcover, mass planting, feature shrub, against a retaining wall or down a bank. Excellent pollinator plant and for bee honey.
CLIMATE : Drought tolerant, will come through a light overnight frost
PLANTING:   Very hardy and forgiving in all types of soil; can tolerate seasonal wet and dry spells. Grows in sand and peat swamps and bushland in the wild so it should be adaptable n most gardens. Prefers full sun but will grow in dappled shade. Will tolerate salt spray, coastal wind, exposed locations.
CARE :   Feed with a controlled release native fertiliser in autumn and spring. Lightly prune if necessary to manage growth or tidy the plant.
HEIGHT AND WIDTH : 40 - 50 cm H x 1 - 1.2m W.
