Plant yourself a tranquil water feature in even the driest spot in your garden, with this new agave hybrid. The rippling leaves, full of movement like a freeze-frame fountain, look at their very best cascading over the edge of a tall pot; but mangaves do very well in rockeries and waterwise garden beds too.

Mangave Falling Waters

DESCRIPTION:  Falling Waters is a hardy succulent with a rosette of thick blue-green arching foliage, distinctively rippled. Leaf edges are lined with little spikes, and the leaf tip is sharp too. Mangave® is a new range of Agave hybrids, inheriting big bold shapes and resilient sturdiness from one parent, and fast growth and a wide range of colours and markings from the other.
USE IN: Accent and specimen planting, landscaping and poolside, waterwise gardens, also suited to containers.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun to part shade in free-draining soil, ideally sandy and light. Mangaves like lots of light; too little light will reduce leaf colour as well as growth rate. If you are planting in a pot choose one slightly wider than the width of the plant. Needs a temperature over 15C
CARE: Water regularly but sparingly for faster growth, especially during the warmer months; water very little to keep your Mangave small. Fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser for succulents.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  20-30cm H x 60-80 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on. You can see an example in the image gallery.
