Tillandsia intermedia x streptophylla 'Curly Slim' - air plant
DESCRIPTION: A tall, slim, very curly variety of air plant created by Dr Mark Dimmitt. Pale grey-green spiralling foliage which coils back on itself into ringlets as it grows. Long slender warm-pink branching flower stems appear on happy mature plants. USES: Attach plants to a piece of driftwood or branch for a natural centrepiece. Hang plants in a glass terrarium to allow for plenty of air circulation and make an attractive display. Will even grow upside down. PLANTING: Air plants love well lit areas with humidity and plenty of air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight CARE: Spritz plants with a hand sprayer daily during the warmer months unless in high humidity; then weekly through winter. Give plants a good dunking once a month or so for a couple of hours and allow to drain. Older plants may produce offsets at the base or along the stem which can be left to create an interesting large branching plant; or replanted and grown on individually. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 60 cm H x 60 cm W. YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
