Easy-care robust foliage plant, dramatic all year round. Tall white flower spikes on mature plants. For sun or shade, indoors or out, garden or container. Yuccas can (and do!) tolerate quite a lot of neglect, but a well-cared for plant is an impressive sight.

Needs a frost free location - the similar gold-striped yucca Bright Edge is a cold-hardy species for outdoors in colder locations.

APPEARANCE : Low maintenance robust ornamental plant with long broad deep green leaves, smooth to touch. Tall spikes of white bell-shaped flowers appear during summer on mature plants. Can eventually grow into a large branching tree but easily contained as a small indoor potted plant.
USE FOR: Accent and specimen planting, landscaping and poolside, also suited to containers, indoor planting, office planting.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun to full shade in the garden in well drained soil. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Hardy plant, tolerates heat and dry conditions once established. May come through a light overnight frost. Prefers dry conditions during winter.
CARE: Remove old foliage for a tidy appearance and fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser. Repot container plants annually, or replace the compost if this is not possible. Give dusty leaves a wipe with a damp cloth. Tolerates neglect but is an impressive feature plant when cared for.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  5m H x 2-3 m W. Cut back trunks of plants that are too big for their location, to maintain desired height.
