Description

Osteospermum ecklonis Lazy Daisy™ 'Burnt Orange' - Cape daisy

APPEARANCE : Low growing fast-growing spreading perennial with daisy-like flowers in deep orange shading to hot pink at the centre and gold at the petal tips. Young plants may flower yellow before deepening in colour as they grow. Flowers heavily during Spring and again in Autumn.
ORIGIN : southern Africa
USE FOR : Excellent for mass plantings. Well suited to cottage gardens & pots. Great for rockeries, borders, windowboxes, container growing
CLIMATE : Protect from frost. Drought tolerant.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun position in free draining soil rich in organic matter. Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions including coastal and alkaline soil.
CARE : Mulch and regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Feed and water regularly while in flower, remove spent flowers, to encourage a longer flowering season.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 30cm H x 40cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
