Peperomia obtusifolia 'Jade' - baby rubber plant, pepper face

DESCRIPTION: Tropical foliage plant with circular deep green fleshy leaves. Compact, developing branching semi-trailing side stems as the plant matures and grows. Happy plants produce tall pale green tail-like flowerspikes.
USES: Container plant for a shaded patio, underplanting in tropical gardens, or indoors. Ideal for planting amid denser ground covers or for hanging baskets as it grows wider than tall.
PLANTING: Plant in a bright spot with indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Prefers moisture-retaining soil or a good quality potting mix. Enjoys warm humid air and regular light watering with rainwater or filtered water for best results.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and regularly once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Apply a very diluted liquid feed every month in the warmer months for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
