Such a long name for such a little cactus! 

For us gardeners, rebutia is a gorgeously cute cactus : small and neat, pretty easy to grow, and completely covered in satiny golden flowers - that's the aureiflora bit of the name - when it's grown and happy.

APPEARANCE : Round to cylindrical clump-forming cactus covered with pale spines. Happy mature plants can produce starry satin golden yellow flowers.
ORIGIN : Native to Argentina
USE FOR : Waterwise garden landscaping, indoors, pots and containers.
CLIMATE : Frost tender, drought hardy
PLANTING : Grow in any free-draining loam or sandy soil, or cacti-specific potting mix. Site in full sun or bright light. Water in summer growing period, allow to dry out a little between watering; keep almost dry in winter.
CARE : Needs very little aftercare. Remove dead flowers. Repot when it gets too large for the pot.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH :   10-15cm H x 15-20cm + W.
