Boule, ie ball, grows in a half-dome, mounding and slightly trailing, neat and compact with pretty little lilac-blue flowers and that distinctive fragrance. Would make a lovely feature plant in a dry garden or rockery.

Rosmarinus officinalis 'Boule'

DESCRIPTION: Chosen for the distinctive growth habit of this Mediterranean shrub, rounded and compact like a ball (or boule, in French). Typical needle-like aromatic foliage and lilac-blue summer flowers of other rosemarys.
USE IN: Rockeries and seaside plantings, cottage gardens, feature plant in dry gardens.
LOCATION: Full sun to partly shaded position in well drained soil. Drought tolerant once mature.
CARE: Mulch and water well while tubestock establishes; clip after flowering to maintain compact growth and accentuate the rounded shape.
HEIGHT: 60 cm H x 60 cm W.
