APPEARANCE :Native shrub with slender silver foliage and lime-yellow tubular flowers, autumn to spring. Foliage is slightly narrower and lighter in colour than Blue HorizonUSES: Native gardens, wildlife gardens, winter gardens, feature shrub. Firewise gardens. Pots and containers.
PLANTING:Grows in any well-drained alkaline to neutral soil, from sand to clay. Prefers sun and low humidity - 'Eremophila' means 'desert loving' - though will tolerate some humidity and occasional seasonal flooding. Mulch after planting to retain moisture and regulate soil temperatures as the young plant establishes. Tolerates light frost and drought once established.
CARE: Prune in spring to early summer at the start of the growing season for best results. Follow with an application of a native slow release fertiliser.
