APPEARANCE: Leafy pink, maroon, cream and green foliage plant, dramatic in appearance. Plants fold their leaves up at night as if in prayer, which shows the purple undersides to advantage.
USE FOR: Ideal container plant for a shaded patio, accent planting in frost-free gardens, or indoors. Suited to underplanting in tropical style gardens. 
PLANTING: Plant in a shady spot with indirect sunlight. Prefers moisture-retaining soil or a good quality potting mix.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and regularly once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Apply a slow release fertiliser yearly and liquid feed every three months for vibrant healthy foliage. Pruning isn't required, simply remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on. These are planted inside pots for protection in transit.
