New Toffee Apple lilly pilly has dark rich leaf colour on new growth, so although the compact dense size means you don't have to clip it, you'll get more of that delicious toffee colour when you do.

Description

Syzygium australe 'Toffee Apple' - lilly pilly

APPEARANCE : Bushy evergreen native shrub with dark burgundy new growth that ages through pinky-tan shades to deep green. Foliage colour is brightest in spring and after regular pruning. Naturally compact and dense habit.
USE FOR : Native and formal gardens as a screening and hedging plant, or topiary feature. Foliage colour. Wildlife hedging.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Protect from strong winds, salt spray, and frost.
CARE : Low maintenance plant, prune for required height or flushes of new foliage. We encourage tip pruning these plants when young for maximum bushiness. Apply a native slow release fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2 m H x 1.5 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
