This strange and fantastic Taiwanese succulent is unlike almost any other succulent you might have come across. As it grows - and it grows quite tall! - the silver-lilac centre leaves emerge outwards to create a tightly-layered waterfall effect all the way along its stem. Baby 'pup' plants at the base, like splashes of water, complete the fountain effect.
Echeveria hybrid 'Fantastic Fountain'

APPEARANCE : Mounding succulent with neat symmetrical shape, lilac-blue in colour. As the plant grows, the layers of nested leaves hide the trunk. Please note : young plants may be green, colour will develop as they grow.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a bright position with indirect light. Protect from hot afternoon sun as the foliage can become sunburned. Frost tender.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette. Smaller plants - 'pups' - around the base of large plants may be removed and replanted.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15 - 30cm H x 15cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
