This seaside daisy is the well-bred, nicely-mannered, neat-and-petite cousin of the boisterously exuberant species Erigeron. It won't rampage around the garden, and the deep pink older flowers contrast strongly with new white ones for a long flowering season.

We love Spindrift for the pink-white flower contrast, neat size, long flowering season

Erigeron karvinskianus 'Spindrift' PBR - seaside daisy

APPEARANCE : A cultivar of seaside daisy bred to be a neat, dense, non-invasive form. Flowers and leaves are smaller than the species form, appearing in abundance in spring-summer and sporadically through the year, opening white and maturing to stronger darker shades of red-pink.
USE FOR : Rockeries, baskets, windowboxes, alongside paths, as groundcover in garden beds.
PLANTING: This groundcover prefers full sun but will tolerate a small amount of shade. Tolerates frost, wind, salt soils and heat. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE : Mulch and water well until the plant is established, clip it over after flowering to encourage compact growth and a second wave of flowering.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 20 cm H x 50 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
