Fittonia 'White Tiger'
APPEARANCE : Tiny little indoor foliage plant with attractive leaf patterning of bold white feathered stripes on dark green. Lowgrowing with a spreading habit.
USES: Underplanting groundcover in subtropical gardens, indoors in pots and terrariums.
PLANTING: Plant in indirect or filtered sunlight to retain leaf colour. Prefers moisture-retaining soil or a good quality potting mix. Needs it 15C or above.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and regularly once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Let it dry out a little between waterings; if it starts to wilt give it a good soak. Apply a slow release nitrogen-rich fertiliser every three months for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
