We're rapt to get this Cape flower in stock, we've had so many requests for leucadendrons! This one is a great garden variety, not too big for suburban spaces, nice and bushy shape, bright colour all year round.
Leucadendron salignum 'Bright Eyes' DESCRIPTION: Small shrub native to the Cape region of South Africa. This hybrid variety is compact, with longlasting red, orange and white cone flowers in spring-summer and year round leaf colour.
USES: Feature shrub, mixed with natives, in a large container, for cut flowers and foliages.
LOCATION: Plant in full sun. Loves free-draining soil. Suitable for coastal gardens. Will grow back after fire.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 4-6 weeks or until the plant is established. Drought tolerant once established and should only need supplementary water in dry spells.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 m H x 1.5 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The size of the pot is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
