Tall, bold, glowing golden lime through the dark winter months - this lovely leucadendron will brighten up your frost-free garden with very little effort, and need very little water.

Loves sunshine and light sandy soils. If you can bear to prune them, these plants make excellent longlasting cut flowers too.

Leucadendron strobolinum x laureolum 'Gold Strike'

APPEARANCE : Small shrub native to the Cape region of South Africa. This hybrid variety has longlasting lime to gold bracts surrounding cone flowers in winter and early spring.
USES:  Feature shrub, mixed with natives, in a large container, for cut flowers in the home.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun. Loves free-draining soil. Suitable for coastal gardens. Will grow back after fire.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established. Drought tolerant once mature, and should only need supplementary water in dry spells.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2 m H x 1.5 m W.
