DESCRIPTION: Classic tropical flower on long thick stems, shaped like a bird's beak and crest, orange and purple. Large oar-shaped foliage in upright clumps. USE IN:As a feature in tropical-style garden settings, poolside, grassy borders, large containers. LOCATION: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Remove spent flowers and old foliage as required. Once established separate new shoots and plant elsewhere in the garden. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.2m H x 1.2m W. YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
