Tagetes tenuifolia 'Lemon Gem' - lemon marigold, signet marigold -

DESCRIPTION: Flowering annual from Central and South America with starry flowers in clear yellow. Ideal for potted colour, borders and garden beds. Good companion plants for vegetables, and insect repellent. Flowers are edible.
PLANTING: Sow seeds directly into garden beds Spring in cool climates or Autumn to Spring in warmer ones. See pack for detailed info on planting in your area. Plant in free draining soil in a full sun location. Flowers better in poorer soils.
CARE: Easy care plant. Water seedlings regularly until established and during extended dry periods. Apply liquid fertiliser regularly for best results. Remove spent flowers to prolong the flowering season.
