Quick Overview

Compact native shrub with showy clusters of hot pink flowers spring-autumn. Hardy and suited to low hedging, rockeries and borders. Smaller than the species form, with brighter green foliage. Doesn't mind occasional wet feet, flowers better in higher-rainfall zones or where watered in the flowering period.

Melaleuca thymifolia 'Cotton Candy'
DESCRIPTION: Hardy compact native shrub featuring fine green foliage and clusters of hot pink flowers summer through to autumn. Attracts native wildlife.
USE IN: Perfect used in native gardens and coastal plantings as a low hedge or feature, shape as desired!
LOCATION: Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions, even occasional wet feet. Plant in full sun to encourage flowering. Tolerates heavy frost and moderate drought once established. 
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to encourage compact growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1 m H x 1-1.5 m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These plants are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height with a pot size of 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
