Compact native shrub with showy clusters of hot pink flowers spring-autumn. Smaller than M. thymifolia, with brighter green foliage. Hardy and suited to low hedging, rockeries and borders. Doesn't mind occasional wet feet, flowers better in higher-rainfall zones or where watered in the flowering period.

APPEARANCE : Hardy compact native shrub featuring fine green foliage and clusters of fluffy hot pink flowers summer through to autumn. Attracts native wildlife.
USE FOR : Perfect used in native gardens and coastal plantings as a low hedge or feature, shape as desired!
CLIMATE : Tolerates heavy frost and moderate drought once established.
PLANTING : Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions, even occasional wet feet. Plant in full sun to encourage flowering.
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to encourage compact growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1 m H x 1-1.5 m W.
