Large glowing ruby flowers are the big attraction here, for you and the local wildlife; along with deep coloured stems.
The bush itself can be a bit leggy but a simple hard prune after flowering will encourage bushiness and help it gain shape, and give you more of those lovely flowers for next time.

Callistemon forresterae 'Genoa Glory'
APPEARANCE : Dwarf tree or tall shrub, open and variable in habit, with strongly-coloured red bottlebrush flowers and papery bark. Leaves are small, very firm, with red-maroon stems.USE FOR : Native and wildlife gardens, as a clipped hedge or informal screen. Makes an excellent bird refuge.
PLANTING : Very hardy and forgiving in all types of soil, even quite wet ones. Prefers full sun or part shade. Salt and drought resistant once established.
CARE : Prune well after flowering to encourage bushiness and to shape the plant; feed with a native fertiliser afterwards.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1.5 - 2.5m H x 1m W.
