Callistemon forresterae 'Genoa Glory'

APPEARANCE : Dwarf tree or tall shrub, open and variable in habit, with strongly-coloured red bottlebrush flowers and papery bark. Leaves are small, very firm, with red-maroon stems.
USES: Native and wildlife gardens, as a clipped hedge or informal screen. Makes an excellent bird refuge.
PLANTING: Very hardy and forgiving in all types of soil, even quite wet ones.  Prefers full sun or part shade. Salt and drought resistant once established.
CARE: Prune well after flowering to encourage bushiness and to shape the plant; feed with a native fertiliser afterwards.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 - 2.5m H x 1m W.
