Large glowing ruby flowers are the attraction here, along with deep coloured stems; the bush itself can be a bit leggy and benefits from a hard prune after flowering to encourage bushiness and help it gain shape.
DESCRIPTION: Dwarf tree or tall shrub, open and variable in habit, with strongly-coloured red bottlebrush flowers and papery bark. Leaves are small, very firm, with red-maroon stems.
