Cinderella's stepsisters were jealous of her beauty and talent; and your neighbours will be jealous of this sweetly-scented princess magnolia as it flowers twice a year, in large bright all-creamy blooms without the purple veil that most michelia magnolias wear.

Evergreen, cold hardy, a lovely small tree or tall slim hedge, and beautiful planted alongside hellebores, winter flowering quince, and spring bulbs.
