Biggest flowers of the Michelia varieties we have (about golfball size), and the tallest growing variety. Attractive feature shrub or for evergreen hedging, especially if you let it grow, when it is spectacular in full flower. If you like a very tightly-clipped neat hedge go for Michelia figo which has smaller leaves and flowers.

Michelia 'Bubbles'

DESCRIPTION: Evergreen branching shrub with dark leaves and large white cup-shaped flowers which are lightly scented. Flowers in late autumn to early spring.
USES: Perfect for tall hedging and screening and as a feature plant in the garden. Tolerates light frost.
PLANTING: A full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Protect from strong wind. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to promote new growth and a compact growth habit. Maintain mulch and water during dry periods.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 4 m H x 2.5 m W.
