DESCRIPTION: Sometimes called the coconut magnolia, the beautifully scented small cream flowers in spring and summer are a delight.  This medium sized shrub has glossy evergreen leaves and a tight growth habit.  Ideal for many situations and hardy for most areas.
USES: Plant in an area where the scented flowers can be enjoyed. Suited to containers.  Can be clipped to a hedge or be used as a low screen.
CARE: Clip back to shape after flowering to promote dense growth and more prolific flowering next season.
PLANTING: Tolerates most positions and conditions but would benefit with mulching and fertilising at the time of planting in a well drained soil.  Ideal in full sun and partial shade.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  3m x 2m.
