Michelia 'Coco'
APPEARANCE: Sometimes called the coconut magnolia, the scented small cream flowers, in spring and summer are slightly larger than M. figo, as are the leaves. This medium sized shrub has glossy evergreen leaves and a tight growth habit.
USES: Plant in an area where the scented flowers can be enjoyed. Suited to containers.  Can be clipped to a hedge or be used as a low screen. Beneficial insects love Coco, which brings in the native birds.
CARE: Clip back to shape after flowering to promote dense growth and more prolific flowering next season.
PLANTING: Tolerates most positions and conditions but would benefit with mulching and fertilising at the time of planting in a well drained soil.  Ideal in full sun and partial shade.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  3m x 2m.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
