Description

Peperomia caperata 'Ruby Ripple'

DESCRIPTION: Tropical foliage plant with tiny heart-shaped leaves, intricately crinkled-ruched and dark maroon coloured. (Note: tubestock may be green when delivered but will colour as the plant grows.) Happy plants flower with long tail-like red-cream stalks. Neat compact size.
USES: Ideal container plant for a shaded patio, accent planting in tropical gardens, or indoors. Suited to underplanting.Ideal for planting amid denser ground covers.
PLANTING: Plant in a bright spot with indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Prefers moisture-retaining soil or a good quality potting mix. Enjoys warm humid air and regular light watering with rainwater or filtered water for best results.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and regularly once established but with a light hand - they don't like wet soil. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Apply a very diluted liquid feed every month in the warmer months for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
