Rhodanthe anthemoides 'Paper Star' - chamomile sunray
DESCRIPTION: Native perennial, rounded in habit with fine foliage and small papery white daisy-like blooms with gold centres, commonly known as paper daisy. Wild form found in QLD, NSW, VIC.USE IN: Rockeries, in pots and windowboxes, wildlife gardens, mixed flower borders.
LOCATION: Dislikes excess humidity, likes warm dry climates and chalky or sandy free-draining soil. Very hot summers cause the plant to stop flowering until temperatures cool again.
CARE: Mulch and water well in summer. Deadhead old flowers to encourage further flowering. Will come through a light frost in free-draining soil.
