APPEARANCE: Super-sized clumping plant with a palm-like appearance, large fronds, and deep purple bird-like flowers with white centres. USE IN:As a feature in tropical-style garden settings. LOCATION: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
