Showy clusters of tangerine orange and yellow flowers completely cover this bush in spring and autumn in a fiery display. Popular evergreen for tropical-style gardens; and excellent value - our nursery plants flower for at least four months from July to October continually. APPEARANCE : Medium-sized shrub flowering with orange, tangerine and yellow clusters spring and autumn. Long flowering season, often repeated in the year.
USE IN: Informal hedge or screening plant. Good for attracting birdlife to the garden.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden, frost free.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, and to shape the shrub. Provide plenty of water during dry spells. Apply a slow release fertiliser during spring. May become prone to aphids when water-stressed, these can be easily controlled by applying eco-neem.
