Cousin to the dark-leaved goldfussia, this strobilanthes gives you bronze-silver foliage when new, maturing to deep green.  It loves sunny locations, where the new leaf colour is brighter. The leaf colour is thanks to a soft furry covering on each leaf, which also acts as a sunscreen for the plant.
